For the 2018 season, the “AAA” 16 point Battle Of The Champions is sanctioned with the National Blackbelt League’s Mid America National and Sagebrush Regional Conferences. In addition to the NBL sanction we are proud to also be part of Sport Karate International League and the Southwest Karate League. With 180+ divisions, the Battle Of The Champions promises to be the most exciting, fun-filled and organized martial arts/sport karate event in the Southwest!

Remember - The National Blackbelt League has opened up the Junior Point and Continuous Sparring divisions. We are excited about this as, Junior Underbelts are allowed to compete in the Junior Blackbelt Point Sparring divisions as they have been in Junior Blackbelt Continuous Sparring in the past. Additionally, Junior Underbelt competitors can also compete in their respective Novice, Intermediate or Advanced Rank point sparring divisions.

Along with my family and students, I would like to thank each and every one of you who have contributed to the growth and success of the Battle Of The Champions. Our continued goal is to bring you, the competitor, coach, and spectator an event filled with integrity and respect and to have you look forward to the next year of the Battle Of The Champions and the experience of El Paso.
